Like many of you, I love the dollar store. I can't resist the the swirly, ornate plastic frames and mirrors they sell because I know that with just a little coat of chalky finish paint, they're going to look like a million bucks! Add some varnish and creme wax and they'll look vintage and beautiful. All that glamour for one dollar! Who can resist it? Cluster several of them together and you'll have a amazing wall for less than 15 dollars. BTW, my favorite brand is Americana Decor from DecoArt. Amazing quality and terrific colors.
