Hanging Sea Glass Lanterns DIY

I've been on a DIY sea glass bender lately and can't seem to stop making it.  I have so much now, I might have to open a store.  Since spring and summer are upon us, I wanted something a little more colorful for my outdoor lighting so I created these hanging lanterns with dollar store glass vases and twine.  The trick to keeping the sea glass in place while it dries is tape....Lots and lots of cheap, clear tape!  Make sure to check out how I made these in the video below because I also share how to easily drill sea glass to make the beaded tassels hanging from the bottom!  Get creative my sweet friends and don't forget to Make Your Mark!
Can't wait to fill these with tea lights
The sea glass tassels are my favorite part!
Just as beautiful with the sun shining through them!

My glue of choice is E6000 Plus
It has no odor and is strong enough to withstand the elements

Happy Summer!

Mermaid Sea Glass Mirror

I've been making my own sea glass for a while and have quite a stash saved up. I wanted to tackle a huge project using the wine and sparkling water bottle glass since that's what I have the most of right now.  Yes, I'm a wino and I love sparkling water, too.  Isn't it amazing what you can do with recycled materials?  I absolutely love this mermaid mirror and can't wait to put it up in my house.  If we all work together we can save this planet one beautiful craft project at a time, don't you think?
Recycle and repurpose and don't forget to Make Your Mark!
