Upcycled Mini Terrariums

I always try to recycle or upcycle.  It's not the easiest thing to do, but it's important to me.  When I attend a big event, one of the things that goes through my mind is the enormous amount of 1-use plastics we toss away without a thought.  These plastic wine glasses are a party rescue and I was able to give them a 2nd life as mini terrariums.   I used the new E6000 Plus glue from Eclectic Products because it's the only industrial strength glue that does not corrode plastics.  You can even use it on acrylic and plastic gems.  Give things a 2nd life, my sweet friends, and don't forget to

French Dresser Makeover with Unicorn SPiT

Most Mondays after the gym I head to the local Goodwill to see what I can find to makeover.  It's a ritual that I love!  So many people have a "thing" about second hand stores, but I don't have a problem with them. I look at it a couple of ways...Every purchase goes to a great cause and I get to encourage my friends to rethink tossing something when they're tired of it.  It's just another way to keep the earth more green.  This little dresser looked so sad, I had to bring it home and give it a new life.  Currently it's residing in my nieces bedroom and she loves it.  Make something over when you're so tired of it you want to donate it, and don't forget to Make Your Mark!
Hot pink and proud!

Pop Art Postcards

How many Amazon boxes do you get per week?  I probably get 3 - 4.  That is a lot of cardboard and truthfully, I feel pretty guilty about it.  To assuage my guilt I try to make as many projects as I can out of cardboard.  Check out my cardboard tile projects!  These postcards are an EASY way to send out some happy mail and use up tons of cardboard.  The kids can join in and learn how the old folks used to communicate before texts and emojis!  Make someone's day by sending them a funky, handmade postcard and don't forget to Make Your Mark!
You ROCK!  I swear, you do!
Americana Neon paints from DecoArt make me super happy!

Turntable Spin Art with Pouring Medium

You might know how much I love painting stuff on a turntable or lazy Susan.  There is nothing more relaxing than adding paint to something that's spinning in front of you.  It's magical!  I decided to try a pour painting with this technique and I'm super happy with how they turned out.  The longer you leave it on the record player, the more the colors reach out toward the edge.  I also found that the more colors you use, the better!  Be fearless and experiment with everything and don't forget to

Beach Vacation Shadow Box DIY

We take so many photos and rarely print them!  It's time to get that amazing beach, Paris or skydiving photo OFF of your phone and into this super fun shadow box!  I chose a couple of my favorite beach photos and just printed them out on my home computer for this project.  You could use several photos instead of just one.  Heck, go nuts!  Fill the box with sand, rocks, pearls, ticket stubs, whatever, but just make sure to put it together with E6000 Plus. Celebrate your experiences my friends and don't forget to Make Your Mark!

Crochet Necklace DIY

I tried to learn crochet as a kid but got super frustrated.  I just couldn't get the hang of it.  Recently Yarn Story sent me a set of light up crochet hooks so I thought "why not give it another shot?"  In a matter of 2 hours I taught myself a basic chain stitch and made these colorful boho necklaces.  The perfect gift for my funky mom for mother's day, too!  I used a multi-color hemp cord, but you could use anything that strikes your fancy.  Have fun, learn something new and don't forget to
