I love the ornate masks people wear during Carnival in Venice! Gorgeous colors, harlequin patterns and embellished in every way possible. These hanging lanterns are inspired by those very masks. Why you ask? I have no idea! I just thought they would be pretty hanging in my trees. By the way, they do look pretty magical hanging in my trees! I used Nescafe coffee jars, but you could round jars if you wanted. Heck, toss on some gems for fun just to jazz them up for daytime. No rules when you're upcycling and being creative.
