Woodn't it be lovely?

Here are a few simple ideas that WOOD be lovely in your home.  Get it?  Anyway, wood, twigs, branches, 2x4s, I just dig the look of wood.  Now get out in the backyard and
fire up that saw!
Yarn wrapped twigs from
next to my recycled cardboard Tramp Art frames.
Such an easy way to create an arrangement for your home.  Mix the colors and go nuts!
Love this table made from pine 2x4s!  Just  wonderful.  I think it could look great if they were glued on top of a piece of plywood?   How would you make this?

Such a simple idea and so effective.
Spray paint some branches and you have an amazing centerpiece.

Next time you see a big branch, make it into an
army of candle bases!
Sorry kids, got this from Google.com.  I haven't used chalkboard paint very much (a while ago for a kid's room when I was on While You Were Out) but I thought this was a
nice mix of styles.

Magical inspiration!

Some magical inspiration from around the world and web.
Lamps designed by Geraldine Gonzalez.  These are magical.  You could almost do a version of them with white paper lanterns.  I really like sea urchins and the look of jelly fish.  Some day I'll share the story of when I got stung on the face by one!
Peter Pan cut out on top of lamp....Magical!  Any silhouette really could work for this.  It reminds me of those glow in the dark stars stickers that we used to put on our ceiling.
And how about this for a birthday party? Spearmintbaby.com  I want to make these for my besty's daughter.
A version of the wrapped wine bottle which I think works perfectly.  I think the mix of colors is just beautiful.
HandyWoman.com
Wood and Wool Stool from Morocco.  I think this is a wonderful crochet project.  It just WORKS.

YOU MADE THAT WITH WHAT?!?!

In my worldwide whirlwind tour around the internet, these are some things I thought you might find inspiring.  Make your own versions and be creative!
Etsy.com  Necktie cuff.  Just wonderful!
I really love using old neckties for projects and this one is perfect.  The bias of the fabric makes it perfect for stretching over a flat metal cuff.  The backing could be anything from leather to vinyl.
This dress is made from paper by
Isabelle de Borschgave
She is definitely worth Google'ing if you get a chance and love working
with paper as much as I do.
LindyCottageHill.Blogspot.com
What a terrific decoupage project. The birds are photocopied and then cut out and the vines are hand painted.  You could photocopy the birds on sticker paper and save a step.  Just sayin'.  I'm so impressed with this piece!
ChaCha.com
What a great use for an old shutter!  I write my birthday cards months in advance (I know, I know!) so I could see myself organizing them by month in the slots.  Hm...Could work....
Wooster Top Hat pendant lamps by INNERMOST.  Now can you top (hat) that! Just thought these were really fun.  You really CAN turn almost anything into a lamp.
Shelterness.com
Nail head design that I'm pretty sure you could do with thumbtacks.  Just think about it!  Hold the thumbtacks with a pair of needle nose pliers while you gently tap them.  It works!

Just some fun stuff that turns me ON....Creatively that is!

Such an easy appliqué that anyone could do it!  Sweet and good for all ages.
CraftGossip.Com
I've been seeing this everywhere and they are so elegant and beautiful.
TheBridalLounge.com
Not sure if I would attempt to make this, but the idea of a letter on a shade just turned me on.  I hope this inspires you like it did me!
BrooklynLimestone.com
Ombre walls.  Say no more!
Why I thought of sewing those 99c store rugs together to make this I don't know!  But I did.
This is a tumbler image someone sent me and I have no idea where it came from.  So sorry kids!  I do my best.
Tissue paper pom poms are HUGE right now.  This is just elegant and a nice way to spruce up a beach house or do something temporary while you decide.
Saw this on pinterest.com   Just put pom poms in the search engine and you'll find them and TONS more.
Yum, clusters of wall art together over intricate wall paper.  I love it!
DesignSponge.com
And finally, some mushrooms for no other reason than they are copyright free and you can use them for your art!  Enjoy.
