Hi Mark! I keep trying and trying! My favorite spray paint project was painting a bookcase and distressing it with my daughter. Great fun!
ReplyDeleteI made some cool apothacary jars by spray painting some wood and cheap glass candlesticks. Turned out great! The glitter would be FUN!!
ReplyDeleteoh...and I follow you every where. So much so that I'm sure you're looking into a restraining order ;)
ReplyDeleteCurrently working on a series of abstract wooden sculptures that incorporate stencils and spray paint, actually!
ReplyDeleteokay Mark -- totally up for this & just finished all of the above. my fave color is the teal --- and second is the maroon!
ReplyDeleteI'm currently upcycling wooden pallets into furniture for my art studio that's being built with only things upcycled, borrowed or hopefully won! I'm dying to work with the glitter blast!
ReplyDeleteI recently stained some wooden storage cubes (which I multi-purpose as end tables) and sprayed them with triple gloss poly. Cute and useful ftw!
ReplyDeleteI love spray painting over lace on everything. The glass plates, dressers, drapes. Very fun! Thanks for all the cool ideas, it's really opened up my eyes to the endless possibilities!
ReplyDeletealso finished the above contest rules

ReplyDeleteI've shared this on facebook (with my Jennifer Lynn Germain account), liked & commented on the krylon page, joined your blog, commented here and followed you on twitter with my @JennaGermain account. (though I had to go a round about way to find your twitter page because when I clicked on your link above, it took me to a "page not found" message)
I did it! I spray paint a lot of stuff. I get things from the thrift store and breathe new life into them... usually black life. But now... Oh the things I'll do with glitter!!
ReplyDeleteHello Mark,
ReplyDeleteTrying to win your book, and of course the glitter spray. Would love to create some projects to use with my grandchildren. such as easter eggs.
Did everything I was suppose to do, I just don't follow twitters though.
Hey Mark! Thanks for another chance to win these paints, and your BIG ASS Book of Crafts! I am in the process of making a wedding bouquet for my daughter, using vintage and any cool floral brooches I can find. Some need to be painted... what better way to use the glitter paint??? Have you seen the bouquet Miranda Lambert had in her wedding? STUNNING!
ReplyDeleteI have done it all. Your Twitter link didn't work for me but I found you and am now following you on Twitter too. My favorite spray paint project is anything that I can spray paint. I love to take something worn out or the wrong color and make it pretty again.

I love painting glitter blast on gourds that have been sprayed white first. They look like expensive decor items.

Hi Mark! Finally finished all the steps! I have a 5 year old daughter who loves all things that sparkle! We are in the process of redoing her room and think these paints would help transform some everyday items into extraordinary accents! Plus our Walmart in La Junta, CO doesn't carry them. Thanks so much! If I am the lucky winner my email is sailor_kate@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteI did them all and I wanna win!!! :) I want to spray paint an old armoire and turn it into a fabric cupboard - you know - for my addiction :)
ReplyDeleteHmmm...my previous message hasn't posted.
ReplyDeleteI did all the above requirements and my favorite spray painting project is usually anything where at the end you peel off something to reveal untouched areas (for example, your method for making candle holders out of old jars & string)
I love the glitter paint. I am making a lamp with childrens toys and the teal glitter paint would make this project awesome.

Favorite spray paint project??? Hmmmm, that would be the metal bird feeder/plant holders that are just beginning to thaw out from the winter. Looks like they could use a new coat! A sparkly new coat! Hi Mark,
ReplyDeleteI follow you on Twitter :-)
And my favorite spray paint project is taking anything from drab to bright and beautiful. I do love the metallics.
Thanks for the giveaway!
I am a follower...ha, ha..because I don't really follow anyone! I just see what you do and always have to tweak it a little to fit me. I just spray painted a brass (yuck) chandelier a bright blue and am going to hang it outside at our lake house and put candles in it. I can't wait to use it! I would love to have some of that glitter spray.....I would do a wooden chair to use in my pre-k classroom for all my "sparkle" lovers. My daughter says her favorite colors are purple and sparkle!
