Rooms I love 1
Along with my regular craft tutorials, I thought I'd add a few different types of posts that inspire me in hopes that they will also inspire you.  All of my "creative warrior" friends cut pages from magazines and keep them for inspiration.  I've been doing it my entire life. Anything from fashion and home decor to advertisements and antique wood cuts.  You name it, I have folders filled with cut outs that inspire me to be creative.  So I thought, why not share them with all of you?

I love hanging fabric behind a counter to soften it up and add light.  I think I'll try this outside next time I have dinner on my patio.

In The Big Ass Book of Home Decor I used this stained glass window as a jumping point for my office folder Moroccan window project.  The way the light shines through the colors makes me want to put tissue paper on every window in my house.  Well at least the ones with the awful views.Rooms I love 4
This chandelier makes me want to string antique pearl buttons together and hang them from a basic light fixture.

I'd love to know if you think I should continue this kind of blog along with my craft projects?  Drop me a note and let me know!

  1. I enjoy all of your ideas. I have been clipping pictures and articles for 20 years or more. From patio exterior to in house interiors. It's great, you may not be able to duplicate everything but a portion will work in your little corner. I was lucky enough to win your big add craft book and oh so need to get your home decor book. If you don't have a giveaway soon I guess I will have to break down and order
